Terms and Conditions (AGB) - AI-Powered Programming Competition
1. Scope
2. Eligibility
Participation is open to individuals aged 18 and above. Participants must register with a valid email address and agree to these Terms and Conditions before competing.
3. Competition Rules
The following rules apply:
- Each participant must develop a Python project within a fixed 12-hour period.
- All coding must take place on Linux Ubuntu or Mint, and AI chatbots may be used for assistance.
- Participants must use mandatory logging software, including screen recording and keyboard/OS logging tools.
- Submissions must be original and comply with ethical coding standards.
- Winners are determined based on creativity, functionality, and code quality.
4. Data Collection and Usage
By participating in the competition, you acknowledge and consent to the collection of the following data:
- Keystroke logs and screen recordings during the competition.
- Operating System and device metadata.
- Competition submissions and related performance analytics.
Collected data will be used for:
- Ensuring competition integrity and preventing rule violations.
- Prize distribution and participant verification.
- AI training and research projects.
Data is stored indefinitely unless a valid deletion request is submitted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
5. Prizes
Prizes will be awarded as follows:
- 🥇 1st Place: $100
- 🥈 2nd Place: $50
- 🥉 3rd Place: $25
Prizes are paid via electronic transfer. Participants are responsible for any applicable taxes.
6. Disqualification
The organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant for:
- Plagiarism, cheating, or using pre-written code.
- Failure to submit required logging data.
- Violation of ethical coding standards.
7. Liability
The organizer is not responsible for technical issues, data loss, or external disruptions affecting competition results. Participants agree to take part at their own risk.
8. Dispute Resolution
Disputes will be resolved under German law. The exclusive jurisdiction for legal disputes is Fellbach, Germany.
9. Acceptance
By registering and participating in the competition, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
